The escalation of commitment also applies to lockdown restrictions and masks: “Cases are rising, so let’s mandate masks outdoors too!”

Also, the decision of the Israeli govt to cut the validity period of the vaccine passport from 12 to 6 months exemplifies my fundamental problem with the policy: if your rights become conditional, you can expect the government to change the conditions.

That's such a genteel way of saying it.

As we know, doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result, is the famous definition of INSANITY.

'Protective measures' and 'masks' in the same sentence is an oxymoron. Good insights into Israel and the counter-productive nature of passports which can be expanded to include mandates as a whole. The same irrational coercion grips Canada. "They"- the authorities - simply sit on a throne of deception and lies.
